$50/hour market rate, with sliding scale going down to $15/hour*

This 13.5-hour course is $675 total (as low as $205)

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for 3 weeks (13.5 hours total).

Who this class is for: Complete Beginner to intermediate womxn & non-binary people of color. 

This is a journey towards empowered, liberated, and skilled swimming for womxn and nonbinary people of color.  We will build skills around breathing, understanding your body in relationship with water, floating, body alignment, and the beginnings of stroke development.  Through mindfulness, meditation, and self inquiry activities, we center healing and deepening your relationship with water. No previous swim skills necessary. This class is geared towards adults of color with fear of water, but also welcomes those who already love being in water, and want to develop their foundational skills in a safer space.

Pool Description: Indoor Full size pool 4ft all the way across, 92 degrees, located in Renton. 

*COVD-19 Precautions: We no longer require a covid test or vaccine status, but please stay home and care for yourself if you're showing any of the symptoms. Class size limited to 5 students.

*Accessibility: ADA accessible parking and locker rooms, five steps with a hand rail to enter pool.
