Who is this class for: Complete beginners and those with fear around water.

Maximum number of Students: 2

Pool Description: 16 ft across, 3.5ft deep, 92 degrees, Columbia City

This is a 8 week journey towards empowered, liberated, and skilled swimming for womxn and nonbinary people of color.  We will build skills around breathing, understanding your body in relationship with water, body alignment, and stroke development.  Through mindfulness, meditation, and self inquiry activities, your wholistic development is centered. With a 2-1 class size, this is the perfect opportunity for you to work through fears and discomfort, with lots of support and space to grow. 

By the end of this course, you will feel confident in the skills you have gained as a swimmer and the evolution of your relationship to water.
